Golf in Rustenburg
Due to Rustenburg's proximity to the Gary Player golf course at Sun City, which hosts the internationally reknown 'Million Dollar' annual tournament, it is hardly surprising that Rustenburg is surrounded by some of the finest golf courses in South Africa.
The Gary Player golf course is one of a total of 50 golf courses within a two-hour drive from Rustenburg, not to mention the excellent Rustenburg Golf Club itself. The famous Pecanwood golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, is also a mere 80km from Rustenburg.
